Sandy Cugliotta joins Mede as
VP of Provider Solutions, Eastern Division

Mede expands presence in East; strengthens Provider Solutions

Emeryville, CA, March 31, 2008 — Mede (Mede), the leading healthcare analytics company, announced the appointment of Sandy Cugliotta as vice president, Provider Solutions for the Eastern Division. Cugliotta will dedicate his deep healthcare experience in sales and marketing management to building a team of world-class sales executives and further developing large health system client relationships in the East.

Cugliotta will report directly to Mede CEO Mike Gallagher and is charged with driving sales and support in Mede’s Eastern Division. Prior to joining Mede Cugliotta served as senior vice president at Thompson Healthcare where he led its $250 million provider sales organization in offering value-driven software and clinical decision support solutions to improve hospitals’ financial and clinical outcomes.
