Orlando Health Expands Solution Suite with MedeAnalytics Payer Performance Analytics

EMERYVILLE, Calif., July 23, 2009 — MedeAnalytics, a leading provider of healthcare performance management solutions, announced it has expanded its solution suite at Orlando Health to now include Payer Performance Analytics for its physician enterprise. The solution will allow the physician groups to leverage payer information, expected net reimbursement, patient account information and 835 ERA transactions to establish robust payer performance metrics and dashboards. Orlando Health, as a development partner, has been a progressive user of MedeAnalytics’ full suite of advanced solutions and services since 2004.

“We have a strong partnership with MedeAnalytics, and it made perfect sense to bring contract data into our current suite of solutions,” said Orlando Health Vice President of Revenue Management Keith Eggert. “Having easy access to this information will allow our employed physician Central Business Office to better manage payer contracts by identifying and analyzing underpayment trends by payer, contract, group, site of service and reason code.”

“We are very proud of our successful partnership with Orlando Health, a premier not-for-profit healthcare organization in Florida,” said MedeAnalytics Chief Executive Officer Mike Gallagher. “We are grateful for the opportunity to be of continued service to Mr. Eggert and for the opportunity to contribute to Orlando Health’s operational and financial performance, as well as its highly respected patient experience.”
