Orlando Health Expands Solution Suite with MedeAnalytics Clinical Resource Analytics
EMERYVILLE, Calif., October 22, 2009 —MedeAnalytics, a leading provider of healthcare performance management solutions, announced it has expanded its solution suite at Orlando Health to now include Clinical Resource Analytics. Clinical Resource Analytics (CRA) provides current insight into service line profitability, clinical cost drivers and utilization of clinical resources at the physician and patient level. By leveraging detailed cost information from the cost accounting and decision support systems, MedeAnalytics enables clinical and financial managers to better understand utilization and cost trends, drill down into detailed cost drivers, identify outliers, and measure profitability at all levels across the organization.
“We have a strong partnership with MedeAnalytics, and it made perfect sense to bring clinical data into our current suite of solutions,” said Orlando Health Vice President and Chief Information Officer Rick Schooler. “We plan to leverage their clinical expertise to implement a corporate physician reappointment dashboard in support of ongoing credentialing policies and processes.”
“We are excited that Orlando Health has decided to expand their use of our solutions to include Clinical Resource Analytics. Bringing together financial and clinical data into a single analytic solution will provide Orlando Health with unparalleled visibility into their operational costs,” said MedeAnalytics Chief Executive Officer Mike Gallagher. “Orlando Health is recognized as an industry leader, and we are proud to expand our role within their Clinical Informatics Team.”
